Elbow (forearm) and axillary (underarm) crutches are reliable and durable aids for regaining mobility following major hip or knee surgeries and even lower limb amputations. These devices allow for safe ambulation while reducing strain on the healing limb.

Patients affected by rheumatic conditions—such as rheumatoid arthritis—often require additional support for daily mobility. In such cases, axillary crutches can offer greater stability and comfort. When joint function is impaired—especially in the elbow, which is critical for proper crutch use—forearm crutches may be the preferred solution. Their design allows for elbow joint stabilization, providing solid support while reducing load on the joint. This improves both balance and walking safety.
